Once a police report is filed, the Safety Connect Response Center can work with police to help track and recover your stolen vehicle using Safety Connect?s* embedded cellular and GPS technology. This may help to recover your vehicle more quickly, minimizing the amount of damage incurred. The Stolen Vehicle Locator system works across the continental U.S.

Whether it's a health emergency, a traffic accident or some other urgent situation where help is required, a single press of the Emergency Assistance Button (SOS) can connect you to a 24-hour Safety Connect* response center agent. Using your vehicle's GPS technology, the agent can send emergency services to your vehicle's location while offering to stay on the line with you until help arrives. After the complimentary first year of service, a valid Lexus Enform Safety Connect subscription is required.

With the added benefit of GPS technology, Lexus Enhanced Roadside Assistance* makes standard roadside service even more convenient than other services on the market. Whether your vehicle has run out of gas, has a flat tire, needs to be towed or requires a jump-start, assistance can be sent to your vehicle's location-all at the press of the Emergency Assistance button (SOS). After the complimentary first year of service, a valid Lexus Enform Safety Connect subscription is required.


AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION

AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION

In the event that your vehicle's airbags deploy or you're involved in a severe rear-end collision, you'll be automatically connected to a Lexus Safety Connect* response center agent. After attempting to speak to the occupants, the agent will notify local emergency services of the situation and direct them to your vehicle's location. After the complimentary first year of service, a valid Lexus Enform Safety Connect subscription is required.

Q: What do I do if my vehicle is stolen?
A: First, you'll need to file a stolen vehicle report with the police, who will provide you with a police case number. Then call Safety Connect* at 888-849-4505. With your active Safety Connect subscription and the police case number, we'll initiate tracking of your vehicle and report the location to the police. To activate or renew Safety Connect, call 888-849-4505.

Q: If I have Safety Connect, do I receive a discount on my car insurance?
A: In some cases there may be a discount on insurance, depending upon your purchased level of vehicle coverage. Contact your insurance provider.

Q: What does the green light near my SOS button mean?
A: The green indicator shows that the system is active. All new vehicles purchased should have a green light before the customer leaves the dealership. When you are connected with a response center agent, the green light will flash on and off. Press and hold the SOS button to cancel the call, or stay on the line for the operator to respond.

Your vehicle health report provides important information including fuel level, vehicle mileage, smart key battery status, engine oil quantity, recent changes to Lexus Personalized Settings*, and more. You can view the reports on your desktop, tablet, or phone by visiting LexusDrivers.com or using the Lexus Drivers mobile app. For the ultimate in service convenience, you can choose to have a dealer automatically call you to help schedule a service or check the status of your vehicle.

Q: How do I enroll for Lexus Enform Service Connect?
A: You must enroll in Lexus Enform Safety Connect* and opt-in to Service Connect*. You can enroll at your dealer or by calling Enform Customer Support at 1-800-255-3987. In order to view your vehicle health report, you must also register for Lexusdrivers.com.

Q: What type of information is provided on the vehicle health report?
A: The vehicle health report will list:

  • Safety recalls
  • Service campaigns
  • Current vehicle alerts
  • Maintenance information
  • Vehicle status

Q: What type of data is collected and transmitted from my vehicle to create the vehicle health report?
A: The data transmission includes odometer and/or oil life, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) and related data from the vehicle?s on-board diagnostic (OBD) system. Related data includes but is not limited to vehicle speed, engine coolant temperature, fuel injection volume and engine rotation per minute (RPM). Remote engine start/stop lets you remotely start your vehicle to warm or cool the interior based on the last climate-control settings. The engine or hybrid system will run for up to 10 minutes or until any door is opened, the brakes are pressed, or the engine is turned off remotely.

Q: How secure is Lexus Enform Remote? Is it vulnerable to hacking?

A: The security of the system is extremely important to us. The Lexus Enform Remote app is secure, as it requires a connection back to Lexus servers. We will not allow any system that is not on the access control list to connect to the Lexus servers. The system also uses the same standard IP security protocols used by most secure websites. Anti-hacking measures beyond the app, such as on the handset, are outside of Lexus? control.

Q: Can Destination Assist make restaurant reservations for me?
A: No. However, your Lexus Enform response center agent can provide the phone number of the restaurant for you verbally or send the number to your on-board terminal. If you have a cell phone paired via Bluetooth®,* you can make a hands-free call by selecting the phone number on the Info Tab. Note: Call can only be made while vehicle is stopped.

Q: I selected my destinations on LexusDrivers.com. How do I get the destinations to my vehicle?
A: It's easy. Now click on the "Send Changes Now" button and look for the icon to change from red to green. This means the destinations have been sent wirelessly to your vehicle. Then go to the vehicle, start it, go to the Navigation screen, press "Info," "Points of Interest," click "Download" and "Yes" to confirm. The destinations will appear exactly as you organized them on your computer through LexusDrivers.com.

Enform App Suite does not currently support BlackBerry®* 7 OS, and Lexus does not have any plans in the immediate future to test or support BlackBerry® 7 OS. Q: When I register for Lexus Enform App Suite, do I get all the apps and can I add others?
A: Once you register, you will have access to all the available Lexus Enform App Suite apps (Destination Search, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable®, Pandora*, Yelp®, Facebook Places, Sports, Stocks and Fuel Prices, plus Traffic and Weather*). You'll need to link or create and link the accounts for each app to Lexus Enform App Suite when you create your App Suite account to experience all their benefits. To do this, go to lexusenformappsuite.com. Currently, these are the only apps available in the App Suite. Stay tuned for updates on future content additions.
