Anytime you are behind the wheel of a 2018 Lexus you’re experiencing luxury at its best. Not only that, you have access to stunning technology that takes your driving experience to another level where entertainment, safety, and convenience surpass the competition. Depending on the model you choose, many features are standard while others are optional and included in one of the available packages. With the 2018 models, be prepared to be impressed.

  1. Interior Technology

Comfort is always a priority, and the GX provides the option for second-row passengers to be seated in heated captain’s chairs and individualized temperature controls. Rear-seat passengers also have an entertainment center featuring two LCD screens mounted to the front driver and passenger headrests.

The LX has its own innovative features such as the cool box that fits snugly inside the console to keep items, including beverages, refreshingly chilled. The Lexus Enform App Suite utilizes the center console display to access mobile applications, which can be controlled using voice recognition. For added convenience and easier access, the LX makes getting into the rear door easier with the SmartAccess fob that raises and lowers the door remotely.

  1. Information Technology

The Enform Remote mobile app goes the extra mile beyond remotely starting the LX and locking and unlocking doors by sending an alert if a designated driver exceeds preset limits you’ve set for the vehicle.

The IS has plenty of driver-inspired technology like the convenience of the HomeLink universal transceiver. With the transceiver, you can control compatible systems in and around your home including interior and exterior lighting, garage doors, and security systems. For live information whenever you need it, tune into the Enform Destination Assist and communicate with an agent 24/7.

New on the IS is a 10.3-inch HD split-screen display and, on the GS and LX, a 12-3-inch split-screen display providing multiple information packets, which includes a customized image that greets you when the vehicle is started, a full- screen map, and a Navigation System that is voice-activated and displays information in three languages. The IS also offers the Scout GPS Link via a smartphone app for personalized and real-time information.

  1. Safety Technology

The LX, RX, and RX Hybrid feature the Enform Service Connect system that keeps you up-to-date with remote access to your car’s information such as fuel level, maintenance needs and alerts, engine-oil levels, and mileage. The Enform Safety Connect system features an Emergency Assistance Button (SOS) and a Stolen Vehicle Locator for worry-free driving and travel.

The Navigation System on the IS provides plenty of interesting and helpful information and serves in a safety capacity. The full-screen map is capable of simulating views of approaching areas of the highways as well as speed limits. A convenience and safety factor include the Nav systems ability to locate gas stations in the vicinity where you’re driving if you need to refuel.

No matter which 2018 Lexus model you choose, you’ll be driving in style and with the latest in technology advancements for a more comfortable, entertaining, and safer driving experience.
