When transporting multiple passengers is an everyday situation with your family, having a vehicle that provides plenty of interior space for comfort as well as cargo, the lineup of 2018 Lexus SUVs is a good place to take a look for your next new ride.

  1. Lexus RX

The RX is a midsize SUV available in several trims with features such as all-wheel drive (AWD) or front-wheel drive (FWD), 8-speed automatic transmission, and 3.5-liter engine. The RX comes with plenty of luxury features, which includes ample space, a powerful V6 engine, upgraded infotainment system, comfortable ride, ample room for legs and head, multiple airbags, and child safety seats with lower anchors and upper tethers.

The standard RX features two-row seating with a pass-through rear seat and 2nd-row bench seating. The RX L will offer a six-passenger and a seven-passenger model. 

  1. Lexus GX

If off-road traveling is on the agenda for vacation time, the 2018 GX has excellent handling and maneuvering capability, towing, and reliability. The GX is fitted with a powerful 4.6-liter V8 engine, automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive (4WD) that has the strength to tow up to 6,500 pounds that is especially handy if you’re planning a to haul a camper trailer.

Passenger comfort is at the forefront with room for seven, and the GX provides ample cargo space with easy access via a side-swinging tailgate. Examples of some of the features available on the GX trims include bucket seats, 2nd-row, bench seat, pass-through rear seat, and an additional rear seat. Optional features include heated front seats, a cooled driver seat, and driver and passenger lumbar support.

To keep everyone entertained, the RX, GX, enjoy features such as an AM/FM stereo, MP3 player, CD player, 8-inch infotainment display monitor, Bluetooth, and Satellite and HD radio. Optional items include a premium sound system, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and a glass moonroof.

  1. Lexus NX

The five-seat NX and NX F Sport take travel time a level above comfortable and classy with an array of family-friendly features and a striking body design. The NX comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, six-speed automatic producing 235 horsepower.

A few features include a power rear door with Kick Sensor technology for easy loading and unloading, Infotainment features such as Wi-Fi, a 10.3-inch display screen, remote touchpad, 4.2-inch multi-display for the driver, and an eight-airbag system.

  1. Lexus UX

Set for December 2018 availability, the UX200 and the UX250h hybrid are the first compact crossovers for Lexus. Both are stylish with a distinctive exterior, yet a little smaller in size. The UX200 comes with a 2.0-liter inline-four engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission capable of 168 horsepower. The UX250h uses gas-electric combination along with two electric motors and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 176 horsepower. Both models seat five, are designed to maximize the interior space and come equipped with many technologies and safety features.
