5 Upcoming Events in Lehigh Valley | Lexus of Lehigh ValleyThere are many exciting events to look forward to this year in the Lehigh Valley area. Any of these events are the perfect opportunity to get out and celebrate the spring weather or to create new memories with your friends.

Dreamers’ Circus

The Dreamers’ Circus combines music from all over the world including Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, and Greenland for a memorable musical experience. This event will feature a collection of violin, piano, accordion, and cittern sounds, all combined into a beautiful symphony. Dreamers’ Circus will be at the Williams Center for the Arts at Lafayette College in Easton on April 2, 2019. Tickets to the show start at just $27 or $6 for Lafayette College students.

One Night of Queen

You can enjoy your favorite Queen songs by attending One Night of Queen at the State Theatre. Gary Mullen and the Works have traveled the world with their performance of Queen rock shows since 2002. The band will be in the Lehigh Valley area for just one night on April 4, 2019, with tickets starting at $45. The show will feature bright lights, extravagant performances, and of course, your favorite Queen songs. This event is sure to sell out so make sure you get your tickets early.

Microcinema- Bring Your Own Film

Lehigh film enthusiasts will enjoy the ongoing Microcinema-Bring Your Own Film event at the Book & Puppet Company. Every first Wednesday of the month until May 1, 2019, visitors can share their short films, music videos, or micro-media with the public. This event is hosted by local radio station WDIY-88.1’s Stewart Brodian. Your submission to the Microcinema night should be between two and five minutes long and a $2 donation is requested. You don’t need to bring your own film to come and enjoy the diverse cinema.

Don’t Touch That Dial: 100 Years of Radio Exhibit

Radio entertainment has made it through the test of time as records, CDs, and more recently, streaming music, were introduced. Yet, people still turn the dial to their favorite radio station. Don’t Touch That Dial: 100 Years of Radio Exhibit celebrates the long-standing history of the radio. The event is on-going until Nov. 3, 2019, at the National Museum of Industrial History in Bethlehem. Special events will celebrate key points in radio history including Women in Radio and Music at the Museum: Songs from the Golden Age of Radio.

Beginner Line Dance Night

Throw on your cowboy boots and get ready for a fun night of country line dancing. Every Tuesday and Friday night at Pure Country Dancers is line dancing night. Tuesdays are perfect for beginners with beginner lessons starting at 7:15 p.m. Then, come by on Friday night to practice your newly learned skills with line & partner dance night starting at 7 p.m. Each week, you will learn a new dance and new moves paired to top country hits.

Whether a quiet night at the local film theatre or a Queen-inspired rock concert is more your style, you are sure to find it in Lehigh Valley.
