The 2019 Lexus ES sedan is here — and it’s better than ever. The ES has been completely redesigned for the modern age. Sleek, streamlined, and with a stance that makes other sedans look blase, the ES retains its historical quality ride but brings an updated style.

Since 1989, the ES series has been one of the forerunners of luxury sedans. Our team at Lexus of Lehigh Valley is a huge fan of this vehicle, and we’ve highlighted some of our favorite features to show you why:

Customizable

The 2019 Lexus ES comes in seven trim levels: ES 350, ES 350 Luxury, ES 350 Ulta Luxury, ES 300h, ES 300h Luxury, ES 300h Ultra Luxury, and ES 350 F Sport.

The ES’ exterior comes in 10 handsome and modern colors. ES buyers also have the option between 19 interior color combinations.

There are multiple upgrades and personalizations you can make to the ES. Between the wood- and leather-trimmed, heated steering wheel, power trunk with kick sensor, panoramic glass roof, 10.2-inch head-up display, and more, the ES is customizable in ways rarely seen before.

Power and Performance

The 2019 Lexus ES’ base trim level gets 302 horsepower from its V-6 engine. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The ES 350 gets an estimated 33 miles per gallon on the highway. The ES h-series are hybrid vehicles that have up to a 581-mile range and a 44 city/highway combined mpg.

Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters give control of the ES back to the driver. They’re standard on all models to give drivers a manual feel when they want it. When they don’t, the normal automatic drive takes over for a continually great ride.

The ES 350 can go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds. This sedan brings power back to its class.

Interior Comfort and Style

After you take in the elegant exterior, entering the ES maintains the luxurious atmosphere. The ambient lighting standard in most of the trim levels sets the scene. Class-leading legroom and headroom let you and your passengers stretch out. Heated and ventilated front seats come standard on the middle to high trim levels and they’re optional on the lower ones.

A 14-way power driver’s seat option lets you change the way the ES feels to fit you. The F Sport’s interior is aggressive and reminiscent of a sports car. With leather features, aluminum pedals, and sleek instrumentation, the F Sport has one of the slickest interiors on the market.

An optional 12.3-inch display screen will be your new best friend. Extensively detailed city maps, traffic updates, gas station locations, current speed limits and more are easily accessed through voice activation. The 10.2-inch head-up display projects information about the ES and the outside world directly onto the windshield, so you can keep your eyes on the road while staying up-to-date.
