The collection even includes ceremonial clothing from the Aztecs in Mexico and a Hupa basket from California. America on Wheels Museum
Discover the history of transportation in America from the bicycle to vehicles of tomorrow at America on Wheels Museum in downtown Allentown. The museum has over 75 trucks, cars, motorcycles, and bicycles on display. Learn about many of the American firsts in automobile history, including one of the first cars ever made, the first type of car built by mass production, and the first electric car. There are interactive exhibits in each gallery, including one where you can have your picture taken in a mini-Indy racecar driver’s seat. The museum is housed in Zion’s United Church of Christ, where the Liberty Bell was hidden during the Revolutionary War.
