We might still have those high temperatures and humidity lingering around, but fall is just around the corner. This also means that a season for fun activities is about to begin. And who doesn’t love a good pumpkin carving project? Grab your Lexus, pack up your family and friends, and be part of the many fall events and activities taking place in and around Lehigh Valley. Our team at Lexus of Lehigh Valley has compiled a list of the six events you shouldn’t miss.

Quiet Valley Farm Harvest Festival

On Oct. 6 and 7, join in the fall festivities at Quiet Valley Farm’s Harvest Festival. Be prepared for a lot of entertainment, delicious fall-inspired food, and learn about heritage crafts and traditional farm skills. The kids will enjoy the wagon and pony rides, as well as many games. This 44th Harvest Festival is themed Living Off the Land. An event for all generations.

Country Junction: The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival

Pumpkins are the epitome of fall and you’ll find a lot of them at the Pocono Pumpkin Festival. Beginning on Sept. 29, the event will run daily through Oct. 28. Enjoy a classic hayride, take your kids to the ghost ship — it’s also Halloween season, so pick a couple of pumpkins to take home. Don’t forget to indulge in some pumpkin or apple pie.

Bethlehem Harvest Festival

The Bethlehem Harvest Festival is an annual fall fest that comes with music, food, crafts, and numerous vendors. Head to Main Street Historic Downtown Bethlehem and hit the Harvest Festival Family Fun area. Carve a pumpkin, eat some delicious pie, and soak in the spirit of the fall season.

Apple Days

Fall evolves around apples. Crisp, pure, liquid or solid, in a pie, warm, with cinnamon — there are no limits. On Sept. 10 to 11, head to Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem, even bring your four-legged friend, for live music, pony riding, doughnut eating contest, and, of course, enjoy the various apple delicacies.

Tyler Arboretum

As the oldest and also largest arboreta in the northeastern U.S., Tyler Arboretum offers 17 miles of hiking trails. Fall foliage guaranteed. It is also home to a family fall festival held on Oct. 19 and 20. Bring your kids and enjoy a couple of hours of fall fun.

Oktoberfest at Steel Stacks

Going into its eighth year, Steel Stacks Oktoberfest is running from Oct. 5 to 7 and 12 to 14. Experience a little bit of a German feel, sample select beer, try some German food, and be merry. Maybe you will be the next Beer-lympics champion? You definitely don’t want to miss the Dachshund races. This is a fun fall event for you and your friends.

Join in the fall fun, get cozy, stuff your face with pumpkin and apple goodies of all kinds, and enjoy the autumn colors and crisp air. And if you are in the market for a new Lexus, stop by our dealership along the way and check out our large inventory and special offers.
