Whether you’re new to yoga or consider yourself an expert, it can be overwhelming to try to find a new studio to practice. Luckily, if you’re in the Allentown, Pennsylvania, area, there are several spots you can visit. Keep reading to learn more about these four studios that offer a variety of yoga and meditation classes.

Hot Yoga Hut

Found in the Lehigh Shopping Center on West Union Boulevard, the Hot Yoga Hut offers a state-of-the-art European-style hot room. You are invited to participate in a challenging 75-minute session of hot yoga where you have 40 different postures. Randi Perrett, a certified yoga instructor, created and copyrighted this sequence in 2010. Other classes include a 45-minute abdominal hot workout, one-hour power yoga, belly dancing, and a meditation class.

Heat for the hot yoga sessions come through special ductwork that stretches 35 feet long and comes out through 60 evenly spaced vents. This high-tech ductwork keeps the heat circulating and provides the perfect mix of humidity and hot air.

Lehigh Valley Yoga

Recently relocated to West Highland Street, Lehigh Valley Yoga offers traditional Ashtanga and Mysore master classes. The Ashtanga class provides personalized individual instruction so you can learn proper alignment and technique. The Mysore master class is an advanced-level class for those who have practiced Ashtanga yoga regularly for at least a year.

You can attend drop-in classes or master classes and purchase a punch card for both. You can also opt for an unlimited pass, which gives you unlimited weekly Ashtanga classes and one master class each month. If you’re a full-time student, you can receive a student limited membership, which includes eight classes per month for six months.

West End Yoga

Located on West Highland Street, West End Yoga provides a perfect spot for you to come in and have your mind and body relax. Among the classes offered include hot flow, chair yoga, meditation, and yoga for athletes. It also offers a yoga class for kids age 4 through 8, and while they’re taking the kids’ yoga class, you can take your own class down the hall. If you’re unsure which class to take, the studio lets you take the first class for free. You can also bring your own mat or the studio has mats for rent or purchase.

Yoga Loft

The Yoga Loft, located in Bethlehem on East Fourth Street, features three spacious studio rooms all adorned with wood floors. Founded in 2006, the studio is also home to Ollin Studio, where people can participate in Pilates and Gyrotonic classes. Since it opened more than a decade ago, the studio has trained more than 250 teachers and currently has more than 20 local teachers on-site. You can choose from a variety of classes, ranging from beginner to experienced.
